AI automates qubit calibration — NPL deploys NVIDIA Ising
NPL has integrated NVIDIA Ising AI tools into its quantum measurement systems to automate calibration of quantum computing devices. The system detects qubit coherence instability — sudden drifts or gradual degradation — without manual intervention. Part of the UK National Quantum Technologies Programme.

WELMEC WG7: risk-based software rules for MID revision and EV charging
WELMEC Working Group 7 "Software" held its 31st meeting in Prague (25–26 March). PTB presented a risk-based approach for software assessment in measuring instruments, including new requirements for e-mobility charging stations under the revised Measuring Instruments Directive.

NMi expands OIML-CS scope: load cells and multidimensional instruments
NMi (Netherlands) has extended its OIML Issuing Authority scope to include OIML R60:2021 (load cells) and R129:2020 (multidimensional measuring instruments). NMi is now the only Issuing Authority for R129 — instruments used in freight and packaging industry.
